I. Setup, Installation, and system requirements.
- GET-IN is an America Online add-on program to make your life
- on AOL 4.0 and 5.0 (but not 3.0) a little bit easier.
- To begin setup and install GET-IN, you must have an unzipping
- utility. Goto www.winzip.com and download the evaluation
- version if you have not already done so.

- Unzip all the files in the "GET-IN.zip" file into the same
- directory, and run the Setup.exe file. Follow the instructions
- for installation.
- GET-IN is PC only. Sorry MAC owners :(

II. Tutorial: The Art of Room Busting private rooms
- To Bust into a private room, first start the program from the
- start menu. A short 1.5 second splash screen will load, and
- the main program will open. Make sure the private rooms check
- box is checked, and it says "PRIVATE ROOMS". After that,
- simply type the room name of choice into the black box, and
- press enter. Your off to the races.

III. Tutorial II: The Art of Room Busting member rooms
- Begin by loading the program like in part II. Make sure the
- "PRIVATE ROOMS" box is unchecked, and now says "Member Rooms".
- The form will increase in size, making a cool sound. Select
- your desired category (Town Square etc.) and click "Load
- Room List" and wait for Get-In to display and load the room
- list into the form. Once loaded, simply double-click on the
- room of choice in the list, or to search for an open room,
- click "Find Open Room". If you want to change categories,
- simply change it in the main form. If "Find a Chat" is
- still open, it will change and load the new category's rooms
- for you.

IV. A Descriptive and Informative function list
A. -=Menus=-
1. "Stay-In-Chat" bust keeps you in your current room while
busting another room. (This can also be enabled by
double-clicking on the "GET-IN DELUXE" Title bar)
2. Advertisement options include customizable color and
URL changing, if your current advertising URL happens to
be dead. "Current Color" displays your advertising color
(the background is the inverse of that color) and the
HTML for that color.
3. "GET-IN Chat Room Idle Bot" - Go into a chat room, turn this
thing on, and stay online all night!
3. "Advertise" advertises the program in any open chatroom.
4. "Hide AOL" hides and shows the AOL window.
5. "Upchat" lets you upload a file and still use AOL.
6. "Edge of Screen" quickly moves Get-In to the corner of
your screen.
7. "Normal Bust (Safe mode)" is a slower version of Turbo-bust
8. "Chat commands" enables or disables the ability to control
Get-In by typing commands in a chatroom.
9. "Disable Advertisement" (member rooms only) will ::GASP::
disable the advertisement.
10. "Disable Sound" will turn off all sound effects.
11. "Support Get-In" takes you to alladvantage, where you can earn
money while supporting this freeware program.
12. "Check for new Version..." - Checks the internet to see
if there's a newer version of Get-In out.

12. Double-Clicking on the "Get-In Deluxe" title bar will
automatically turn it yellow and enable "Stay-In-Chat" bust
13. "Tray" - sends the program to the system tray.
14. "Turbo Bust" - checkbox will turn gray when deselected,
enabling the speed options button.
15. "Find" - (disabled when in member-room mode)will begin with
the private room of choice, and, if the main room is full,
will attempt the second available room. (EX: Type in 'art',
and if private room art is full, it will attempt art2, and
art3 etc..)
16. "Load Room List" - When signed on, click this button to load
the category of choice, selected right under this button.
17. List of Member room Categories - Selects your desired room
category. ALSO, if the "Find a Chat" window is open,
changing categories in the program will also change them
in the Find a Chat AOL window, and automatically load the
new category.

18. After a room list is loaded, double-click on the room you
want to bust.
19. "Refresh" - Refreshes the rooms from the Find a Chat window
if you decide to change the room-category manually in AOL.
20. "Stop" - An easy access stop-bust button.
21. "Bust On Click" - If unchecked, double-clicking on a room
name will only load it in the main form, but will not begin
busting automatically.
22. "Find Open Room" - Load a room list, and select where you
want to start scanning for an open room. The program will
then scan down through all the rooms until a successful
attempt is made.

23. "Time Between Tries" - Selects the time between each bust
attempt to the nearest hundredth of a second.
24. "Disable Wait" - when unchecked, will enable Time During Wait
25. "Time During Wait" - Select desired time to pause after every
5 bust attempts.
26. "Default" restores default times.

E. -=Chat Commands=-
Chat Commands are specific commands (listed below) that are typed
into a chat room to tell the program what to do. Get-In reads
the chat room, checks your command, and executes the appropriate
function.
NEW TO 4.45! *Auto-Ignore*
".x " & ScreenName or part of screenname -- Doing this will
automatically ignore that person. To unignore, simply do it again.
This is especially useful for annoying people in chat rooms.
EXAMPLE: IamAloser23 is scrolling. simply type in ".x loser" and
he/she will be ignored. Be careful with being to general
however. If you type in " .x I " any screen name with
an 'I' will be ignored, so try to be relatively specific :)

* FROM YOUR SYSTEM TRAY.
".pr " & Room Name -- Bust Private room name of choice
".find " & Room Name -- scan for first unfull room name of choice
".stay" -- Enable/Disable the "Stay-In-Chat" Function
".adv" -- Advertise GET-IN
".exit" -- Exit the Get-In program

V. Common Errors & Troubleshooting
A. "Chip3.ocx is missing or invalid" - Goto my downloads page
here and get the small exe to help with the chip3.ocx error.
If THAT help program fails, completely
uninstall Get-In, do a file search for "chip3.ocx" and delete
any that are on your system. Restart your computer, and install Get-In again.
Restart again after installing Get-In.
